Mac has been a life-long believer in the vital importance of owning real assets like gold, having bought his first bullion bar at the age of 15.
Mac grew up in Saudi Arabia, then studied architecture and engineering in the UK before becoming a residential property developer – his interest in gold never fading.
During the financial crisis of 2008-2010, he watched helplessly as friends and colleagues lost their lives’ work, and became determined to make the promotion of gold his new focus. Sharing gold’s proven superpower to protect hard-earned savings became his calling.
In 2010 he launched a new gold investment website – renamed Bullion.Directory in 2014.
