She was incredibly helpful in walking me through my new account and even assisted me in setting up another one. This is exactly what great customer service should look like.

As previous comments noted, they are very slow to act. Almost 2 weeks from the time I submitted an app to the time I will be able to make a purchase. The funds are settled and my account is still on hold for another 3 business days. Getting nervous now. Thinking I will withdraw my funds, but how long will that take???
Should have done my due diligence but I extended my trust. Jim Rickard is a reputable guy and I trusted his recommendation.

Their customer service is extremely slow to respond to inquiries. They take not minutes or hours, but DAYS. I placed an order from my funded account, and seven days later they still have not shipped my order. I also tried to withdraw settled funds, but HAA stated (two days later) that I needed to re-validate the very bank account I had been funding my HAA account with the entire time. Additionally, Hard Assets Alliance has hidden charges and very high shipping fees. There are plenty of other precious metals companies available that charge a small spot over price and free shipping. Look elsewhere.

For example on their site right now they advertise gold 1 oz bars at 1756. But when you log in, and go to purchase the gold units, not only do you not have choice of which 1 oz bar, but the price is over $100.00 more per bar. After funding 25K for a gold purchase, I found this all out. Buyer beware – find a gold dealer who advertises his actual sell prices honestly!
