On the whole a good product helped by being CGT exempt but patchy quality control on most coins and terrible milk spots on silver. Not that this affects value on anything other than proofs, but if other companies can deliver quality undamaged products again and again, why cant royal mint?

Do not use, took my money and no delivery after two weeks.
No refunds allowed and now I find so many bad experiences

I went onto Royal Mint to buy some coins for a special occasion or I should say I tried to but I ended up on a queue page and was over number in 46,000 in the queue. I went to another UK bullion dealer and bought the same coins for less than they were at Royal Mint in seconds and they were delivered for free a few days later. Ridiculous

I ordered 25 silver britannias and every one of them had scrapes and marks. Yes they were not proof but I’d still expect newly minted coins to be in a half-decent condition. It looked like these had been thrown around the warehouse.

I’m also still smarting from buying several £100 coins a few years ago just as they changed the rules and wrote to banks saying don’t accept these as payment. They were suddenly worth their weight in silver which was about £30, not the £100 I’d paid. I wasn’t alone as eBay was suddenly flooded with these so-called special coins.

Never again.

Attractive bullion coins and bars. Often cheaper buying from dealers than direct from the mint but makes sense to be on RM’s email list as they do have occasional special offers. Would love it if they did smaller RMR poured bars rather than minted, something like ABC square bars, but as-is Britannia bars and RMR still good buys

I received horrible service from this supposedly respectable company and they flagged my review on Trustpilot as being a false review. How many other bad reviews go missing like this? And for the love of god stop making your parcels so obviously from the Royal mint yo might as well write “steal me” on the packages!!!

Excellent bars love the design both the minted and the poured bars and worth the premium over generic

The minted Britannia bars are absolutely stunning and give PAMP Fortunas a real run for their money. Quality of the design is better in person than is seen on the site and the big silver bar is a monster!
