Unfortunately, not as glowing as those prior to 2020. Placed an order Oct 2025, BGASC told me the order had shipped on Nov 1 and provided a FedEx tracking number, but didn’t provide the bullion to FedEx. As of today still no bullion, and they have my cash $39,742. Customer service is reasonably responsive, but you have to sit on hold for between 30 and 90 minutes. All anyone can tell me is that they are investigating and that it can take 30 days. This is beyond the 26 days I’ve already waited to receive my order.

After my order hit a snag with BGASC I placed orders with Summit Metals and Bullion Exchange. Both companies shipped my orders and they were received in less than two weeks. So it’s clearly not a supply issue. This is more likely a company issue and so I could not recommend anyone purchasing from this group.

GoldenCrest Metals have set a new benchmark for me for service quality, advice given and actual pricing. Their prices are consistent with the big e-commerce dealers but you get one-on-one service which (for me at least) took much of the guesswork out of buying metals. I had been a little hesitant in general as I knew nothing about gold other than what I had read about it being a useful diversification asset. However apart from my wedding ring I had never owned any gold before. The market seemed daunting and the choice of bars and coins was overwhelming and at some companies prices didnt make any sense! Like why would I pay more for gold than I need to? (I suspect commission plays a role!) At GoldenCrest however I was led towards the most popular investor-grade bullion coins and as a bonus they were US icons. Buy America! These had a price very similar to what was the raw price of gold and so were good value and I am assured very easy to sell when the time comes. I cannot fault my experience and if anyone is in the same boat as me, wanting to buy gold but daunted by choice I 100% recommend GoldenCrest.
