Originally we were sketched out by this company because we thought their deals were a little too good to be true, but after several phone calls speaking to their staff, and knowing they are right there in Austin TX, we decided to take the risk.

Surprisingly, they delivered our bars exactly as promised and without any glitches. We are learning that small dealer and coin shops with physical storefronts are the way to go right now, with the roller coaster market. When they say they have it in stock, they actually mean it.

Bold Precious Metals definitely care about customer service, and we would be happy to buy from them again!

Texas Precious Metals continues to be one of our favorite sources for bullion. What they lack in diversity of products, they really make up for in customer service. The same guys answer the phones every day, and it’s easy to develop a smooth working relationship.

They are definitely the fastest retail buyback service we have used, and also deliver products like clockwork. Small orders get treated with the same respect as large orders, which is hard to find in this industry!

Money Taken, Refusing Refund

I’m extremely dissatisfied with JM Bullion. My account has been deleted multiple times for no apparent reason, even after verifying all my information. Recently, an order was placed that I did not authorize, and although JM Bullion canceled the order, they still withdrew the money from my bank account.
It’s been incredibly frustrating trying to get my money back, I’ve reached out several times, and they continue to refuse to issue a refund despite acknowledging the order was canceled. This has completely destroyed my trust in the company.
I’ve purchased from several precious metal dealers, and none have handled things this poorly. I expected better accountability and customer service from a company that deals with high value transactions. Until they fix this issue and improve their customer service, I cannot recommend JM Bullion to anyone.

Selling gold to JM Bullion has fallen of a cliff. Their processing times are now painfully slow – probably about three times longer than they used to be. Instead of bringing in more staff to speed things up, all they do is create vague excuses that leave customers completely in the dark

Not a bit happy with amount of money returned from appropriate 37 lb of dental gold scrap. Elemetal send amount owed to me said gold, no mention of platinum or platinum when I questioned it they said they didn’t know I wanted that done also,wouldn’t answer my question on what they were going to do with it but they didn’t tell me it existed until I asked. I had to pay additional $75 refining fee.when they were supposed to wire $ to my account it 3 days of phone calls to get my money. All in all a bad experience, never again!

I updated my shipping address before ordering, but JM Bullion ignored it and used an old PayPal address instead. No one – JM, FedEx, or PayPal – has helped fix it and I’ve had no option to retrieve my package. Their response has been completely dismissive and the whole experience has been awful.

Ridiculous. Charging tax where none is due. This shouldn’t be happening and is a nightmare to try and undo. Just go to Costco!

Placed order for 1 ounce gold bar on May 31. Received communication stating shipping would be June 3rd. When I didn’t receive tracking the next day I called and was told they don’t stock the item and must get from a ‘warehouse’. And it wouldn’t ship until the 10th.This is not stated anywhere on the website. I always check a purveyor by placing a single order and see how I am treated. This is a failure in my mind and I will not be doing business with them on a substantial purchase. Their loss. If you check their 1 and 2 star reviews they are mostly from 2024. Seems like they are experiencing a problem with fulfillment. They sell items that they don’t stock but buy from someone else. A ‘fulfillment center’. I see they replied. Fact- website said they had 22 in stock when I ordered. That’s a big discrepancy for an inventory issue. It is an outright deceptive tactic to lure you to buy something they don’t have. I was never offered a refund. I said if I did not receive by the 10th I would dispute the charge. One week later, no shipment. Order cancelled. These people drop ship from another vendor. Avoid like the plague.
