I’ve sold gold with HGM before and had no issues. Recently I bought a sovereign from their “best price” range as a gift. While the year wasn’t specified, it turned out to be a 1907 – and it’s recipient was thrilled to receive something that is both an antique and an investment! Thanks, HGM!

ignore the people saying it’s not bullion, it’s not, it’s jewellery but that’s not a bad thing. it looks great, feels great, has a real weight to it and a colour and finish you don’t get with even high end 18k pieces. I love it, and despite knowing yeah I could buy gold cheaper I cant wear a bar of gold and to be completely honest it still is amazing value compared to the mass-produced dross that most high street jewellers sell at massive mark ups.
